An American tradition

Another baking party, and this time it was apple pie. I did not get any pictures of the process, only the finished product.

John (he really enjoyed the homemade apple pie as it was his first in a long time) May, Owin, Channel and some strange guy with a bowl on his head (Lawrence).
May preparing for a pie eating contest.

Owin liked the pie also... but not as much as the cookies.

As the party was winding down, an conversation orchestrated by the Holy Spirit arose. Channel was talking about how she believed Christians should act (not doing the bad things). We were able to talk about our sinfulness as humans and that being a Christian was not about how we acted, but only that we trust in Jesus for the forgiveness of our sins. Although it was not a long, in-depth conversation, the Truth was spoken. Thanks be to God for a good time, the apple pie and the opportunity to tell about Jesus!

Awww! Apple pie! A great taste of America! Did you cut the sugar in half? It was good that you posted some pictures! Will you be in Colorado in December also?

Hey,
Great to see you guys are keeping up the tradition of baking parties. Any dancing going on? Owin looks really cute there, and May looks like she's out of control! Did she drink another beer? Tell everyone out there we love them and are praying for them.
