Team Day

A couple of weekends ago, our team in Macau and the team from our sister center had ... what else, but a team day. We went to a park and proceeded to eat a lot of food and have a lot of fun.

Here is May, over-seeing the bbq-ing.

More over-seeing of the cooking... all that was required of us was a big stomach and a willingness to fill it.

Waiting for the work to begin.

We were up for the task. Yes, I spilled something on myself and it didn't come out in the wash. The t-shirt took one for the team.

I don't really know what Chris is up to in this picture... your guess is as good as mine.

Ann and I on our kickin' tandem bike. You know on those old Double Mint gum commercials, they make riding one of these things look so easy. Again, just another way that TV fools its viewers. I try to imagine what we all looked like to the Chinese people there. A bunch of big foreigners, on bikes that were too small for some of them, driving around like crazy people, falling over and laughing. I think we did the phrase "loud Americans" proud on that day.

The destination for our bike ride.

Most of us also rode a zip-cord across a lake. Here is Chris, he decided to forsake the rules and just try it with one arm. Later, he abandoned completey the idea of holding onto the metal thing that we were supposed to hang onto (I don't know what to call it), until two seconds before he slammed into the pad that stopped him.

A group photo (pretty obvious, huh?)
